(please note the One Touch Feature is PC only and the software is not Mac Compatible. The drive will work on the Mac as a standard external drive you just can't use the One Touch Feature)In simple terms this allows you to select the data you want to make a copy of, press the button on the front of the drive and it will make the back up for you at the touch of a button. However if you don t want to use this free feature and software then no problem if you don t want to load it simply plug in the drive and drag and copy any files and folders you want to make a back up of.
